Anson Wang was voted as Asia's top young entrepreneur by Businessweek. He has been taking startups from concept through product development, business model development, distribution and acquisition.
Anson has founded 4 companies namely, Rocruit, one of the first vertical search engines in Asia that aims to provide a simple and cost-effective recruitment system for employers and recruiters. Rocruit was acquired by Affinity Labs in 2008. Anson founded another company in May 2010 named Jouku. Jouku was created to provide the simplest way for users to access and manage backup files across multiple accounts. Jouku was acquired in 2013 for $60million.
Anson then started Jobstore in 2015, the No.1 job distribution service provider in South East Asia and also another company named TalentCloud.ai in 2019. TalentCloud.ai is the first AI-powered enterprise-level human capital management software in the region. It aims to tackle bedrock issues in modern recruitment and help organizations build an A-team from day one.
TalentCloud.ai has been funded by NEXEA in 2021 and has since grown in multiples. They are dubbed "the Workday of Asia" and are set to be one of the leading HR SaaS Startups in Southeast Asia.
